SSS Problem

- SSS Problem
I am using Octane 3.08.3 with C4d 19 and i keep getting problems with SSS. In the Medium Channel I put in An RGB Value as Absorption. I would expect that it evenly distributes in my object, but it is like gradually increasing towards the camera. If anybody has a clue what the problem is, please help. i enclose a screenshot.
