Hello.
In some times, when I edit materials, the preview render hang.
I think it is sending the change in the material to server. It is a idea, not technical data, it is my impression with be when happen.
And I supose that the hang is the octaneserver because I cannot exit pressing both botons over icon.

Check out if any of the textures has automatic bit deph mode turned on. This should be turned off.
