its just a simple question.
How long is the discount being available?

it's going to be available until we have finished the v1.0 final,
which is going to be at least 2 more months,
so you can rest assured that you can buy licenses at 99 euros for a while...

2 months sounds really close, but I wonder, are all of the features from that feature poll going to be in the 1.0 final? That is, emitters, normals, alpha etc.

Also, I'd really like to try out the OS X version before I buy a license...

for Mac OS X version you will have to wait a bit.
we've ordered a new Mac to make builds and once it's delivered i'll start work on the mac port.

I remember reading somewhere that Octane uses a library for the UI, to make it work on all the different platforms. Is it something developed in house or a 3rd party library? If the latter, which one is it?

Radiance has said on here before that he won't disclose the internals of octane, so I guess you will have to guess the answer to that..
