Network rendering not working on print size images, help.

I'm using the C4D tiled camera and each tile is 25600x14400 (need the image 25 feet tall @ 300 dpi) and that's rendering on my main machine, but network rendering is not kicking on. When I tested the network rendering by trying out a dummy scene @ 8k res, the network rendering is working fine. Is there a max resolution that network rendering supports?

I remoted into my render machines, on the farm and restarted the daemon on each, but still no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
probably you have not enough RAM/VRAM for that resolution on the slaves.
Try to augment the number of tiles/reducing the resolution, until the network render starts correctly.

Each machine has 4x 1080ti's and 32gig of RAM the main workstation has the same but 64gig of RAM. Wonder why that would be an issue?

Hi,
please check how much RAM is using the Master with that scene, probably the Slaves RAM is not enough.

Thanks for the feedback.

I got it working. I changed the resolution to 12800x6800 per tile (for the tiled camera) and the network rendering is working for that. The network rendering kicked on.

I had to modify the user data on the tiled camera to allow for more tiles since by default it maxed out at 5.
