Hey Guys. This might seem like a noob question but in Octane for c4d im trying to spread a gradient over clones. I am able to do it with the normal cinema 4d physical render with a shader effector but cant seem to figure it out in octane. I have been toying around with the MG color shader but am getting no results. I've posted an example of what I did in normal c4d that I would like to duplicate in octane. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked to manual?

thank you for the response Aoktar.
I have been reading the manual and also looking it up on other forums online and can't seem to find the answer.
Can you help point me to where it would be in the manual or have any other useful pointers?
thank you

Check InstanceColor related topics in manual

Ahh Thank you. I wasn't seeing those options because I wasn't using the most recent version of octane.
I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction man.
Bless

Hi did you have any luck with this? I'm trying to achieve the same thing, a gradient across clones. The manual talks about using a plane with a vertex map under the clonea. Is this the only way?

Please take a look for InstanceColor under textures. Details is in the manual.
