Render Layers - Layer Names

Hi Ahmet,
I wanted to propose and update the render layer output.
Attached is a screenshot that shows Standalone vs C4DOctane when the exr is opened in photoshop.
1. This black layer (it's always black for me anyway) blocks the possibility for a thumbnail to be generated (on mac at least).
Is it possible to leave it out, or have it moved to the bottom of the layers?
2. I try to utilize photoshop actions as much as possible, and I have some that prepare my files with Render Layers - re-ordering and setting blending modes etc.
The number that is on the front of the layer names causes issues if I don't render the same configuration since that number is not consistent to the type of layer.
I propose leaving it off, or setting it so that it's always consistent for instance MatID is always #0037.
