G. C4D R19.053
H. I know this problem has been stated before but proposed solutions for the problem i’m having have only been for Windows, so I’m hoping to get some kind of solution for Mac. I’ve used Octane for about 2 years now and have faced my fair share of bugs which recently stopped when I downloaded 3.08 and was on El Capitan. Everything was fine until I updated my OS and had to reinstall my CUDA driver. Again everything was fine until about 2 or 3 weeks ago, whenever I try to update textures in the Live viewer it always glitches and then I get the Render Failure popup. I checked the console after testing the bug out a few times and consistently come across “CUDA error 700 on device 0: an illegal memory access was encountered -> failed to deallocate device memory” I can work around and avoid this error mostly by just not using the Live viewer but it slows down my process substantially having to click for the Render View instead of seeing things in real time.

I updated my Octane from 3.08 to 3.08.1 because I know that was a proposed solution, but the problem persists. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Octane as well as the CUDA driver but the same thing still happens. The scene I’m currently working on specifically is simple, just a 3d model of a shoe that I made that I was trying to texture. I included it below as well as some screenshots describing what I’m talking about specifically.
