Octane ProMaterials
Octane ProMaterials
Hello everyone.

For the last couple of years I was working with octane on many different projects, and the story was more or less the same - lack of decent materials library from the start therefore searching for maps, creating own shaders etc. All above cost time and we all know that time is money.

So I concluded that I need to make my own library the way I see it, based on my experience gathered throughout the years, and maybe make a living out of it.

The bottom line is that I was working for some time now on this and decided that it is time to present it to you, and build some hype maybe :)

I will be releasing materials library as my product for sale.

Please checkout my first video with brief presentation to see it action - you won't regret it :) :

You can find additional information and description on my website:

If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to write - I would be happy to answer.

Regards, Mac :)

Cool idea, personally i would rather buy single materials than full library, so consider about detalic sell, this way u can make materials on request and sell them without gathering big library again.

WIPEXO - Thx for the insight.

I am considering splitting it up for categories like wood, concrete etc, and ofcourse a bundle package for all materials together (or smaller bundles).

Here is the progress:

For start I did around 40 wood presets - you can checkout a brief youtube video: https://youtu.be/a4mbvl-sGmI
From there go and see my website with detailed info and renderings of the wood materials, which is here: http://brain-3.net/octane-promaterials- ... sets-v0-8/

If you have questions, or suggestions - feel free to ask, I would be happy to answer.
