I have just purchased new computer. I intend to use it just for CAD/Rendering....no email, games, microsoft word etc. I have octane on my old machine. Do I need to de-activate license on that one and re load on new machine?

You can either deactivate through OR, in the preferences panel, or if you've scrubbed the old machine (or can't be bothered to switch it on again), go to the customer area on the front page of this website and you can deactivate your license.

However, remember there is a 1 hour delay between deactivation and reactivation - so deactivate your license in advance to save delays!

Thank you Rob for the quick reponse to my post.
I will follow your advise and re install Octane on new machine as I have been busy documenting for the last few months and am keen to get back into the octane scene
