Material preview not working correctly.

My materials stopped showing up as they should yesterday. If I duplicate one with a preview it's just going to show up as that old preview even though changing diffuse etc. and if I create a new one I just get a full transparent striped one like the one called "Indie LP". Tried switching back to the stable 3.08 but still same problem. Opening the material in the node-editor just gives me a black square. Using latest update for Cinema R18 and 3.08

Whenever I have a thumbnail issue, double clicking here usually fixes it.

Got the same problem, any solution found? Neither double clicking or Function\Render All Material works.
EDIT: Accidentally found it, in Live Viewer\Options\Material Preview
Why is there even such an option presented? I was so frustrated for over a month when it started.

As you can see that there's two options for material and opengl previews. You can read those from my latest manual too.
There's always some good reasons to create this kind of options. Main reason is to gain some extra speed while working with parameters.

So my question is that why did you guys disabled it and forget?

I never did, it seems that I disabled it accidentally, probably were trying to hit "show alpha" and missed.
Thanks for the answer anyway, now I see that there might be actually some use to that option.
