New Jersey (Interior scene) *Updated*

I decided to finish the scene I have used for my video tutorials.
I'm quite happy with that, but I need your opinion to go further. :|

I have modeled all the scene; furnitures came from several site (Load, modelPlusModel, flying architecture) except chairs, tables and couch that came from studio for wich I work.
I made render with Directlighting because the scene is to heavy for PT (0.1 Ms/s; it's a nightmare that only give noise  )

thx Joseph :D
First image (1280x720 px) needs about 2h at 1.2 ms/s to achieve 8000 s/px.
Second (640x360) needs same time to compute 4000 s/px at .8 Ms/s.

I am going to comment on the render newJersey17_comp01.png as it looks over most of your scene.
You have really filled the scene quite well and makes the house seem like it is being used if you know what I mean.
Here are some suggestions that I came up with while looking at the image for quite a while.
add pillows to your couches, they seem empty.
add a cornice or shadow line where your wall and ceilings meet. It's a nice extra detail for the scene, it may go unnoticed but some people may notice if it's not there.
while having a look at your awesome HDRI(really makes your scene more realistic) I see that its cloudy in the HDRI and sunny in your scene. If you look at the shadows of the plants in the HDRI and see the shadows your sun is giving to the chairs on the deck, there is a bit of a difference. I just think a cloudy lighting setup in octane will will bring your scene and the hdri together better.
This is just an extra idea, I understand your scene is polygon intense but maybe adding a large pot plant somewhere will bring some more life into the scene.

I hope my suggestions help you in anyway, your scene does look really well done even with just using Direct Lighting.

i3d>thank you very much for your advices.
It's really helpful
By the way, It's not HDRi but textured planes, in 3D, with emissive. Of course it's not possible in Octane to have HDRI+sun lighting together.

I'll upgrade the scene ASAP and I'll post new images.

Tutorials? ZOMG torrent plz! ;] But seriously, could you post a link? Are they for Octane? Very good renders, I'm surprised they were done with direct light.
