Octane blocking my total C4D usage without license

I just switched my mainboard and plan to do a format C soon but need to use Cinema

Now octane totally blocks my total C4D Usage if I don't log in which is just ridiculous. Each time I press X, the popup appears again, preventing me from doing anything. Even if I log in but dont want to waste one of my 5 reset tokens, it keeps happening.
What kind of audacity is this, not logging into a plugin, so you block my entire Cinema 4D usage? How is this even allowed by Maxon?

That is just unacceptable and needs to be fixed.

I can't even quit the program and have to force quit through task manager. I am trying to delete to octane folder now, but this is just ridiculous.

Sorry but there's nothing to be ridiculous. It will not ask again if you give the credentials once time. I cannot rewrite whole structure of plugin because of you don't give correct credentials.
Note that, it will not recognise the installation if you change the your hardware or OS. It's a part of protection, nothing than different from most of other's system.

Just cut and paste the octane plugin folder to somewhere else and put it back later.
I agree that this is a little annoying as I often have a renderjob to on my main workstation which occupies my octane license and still want to do some work with my laptop,
but I just cut and copy it outside the plugin folder and back in when i need it again. I would be nice to be able to set the plugin inactive per button though.
