Octane Animation Preview

I am using Octane in C4D and for some reason the animation preview in Octane is not working properly. sometimes works sometimes not. and when I say "animation preview" I mean when I hit a play button in C4D it should play a LowRes preview in Octane window but it stops doing that after any change in the scene (like change the diffuse color). and I think this is not normal. Because I don't have this problem in my other Octane machine.
my question: is it something related to the system configuration (hardeware performance) or something in Octane setting.

Note: I am talking about very simple scene.

thank you for your help.

I think you talk about render in Live Viewer? So restart render and try. Also check for errors in Script/Octane Log windows.

Thank you Aoktar for your response. I would like to clarify what I am trying to do here. I have been testing Octane on a workstation that has P6000 and see how Octane works with this GPU. I have been using Octane for sometime on a dual GPU system and this is the first time I am using a single GPU (P6000 Workstation) and I notified that even if you have a powerful GFX card still one is not enough for Octane because the single GPU can not be fully dedicated to only Octane.

So my questing was about play animation in Octane Live Viewer. it works but stops every time I make any simple changes in the scene (ex: change the cam angle. or change Mtl color) and it won't play again until I resend the scene in Octane Live Viewer while I am playing the animation. So I would like to know if this is normal or lack of hardware performance (single GPU issue) or something I can fix in the setting.

Single card is enough to work on non heavy scenes. Thought I'm doing a lot of things on a laptop with gtx1060. And this behaviour is not exactly expected. You should check for possible errors in log windows.
