Could you please share more details about the crash issue?
- is a crash in blender? octane server? or octane standalone?
- your cuda driver version
- your system specs

Hi ITISLTW, could you please upload or PM me your crash log, which is put in C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Temp\[CRASH BLENDER FILE NAME].crash.txt by default.

Hi ITISLTW,
The crash log is supposed to be put under the directory set in "User Preferences - File - Temp". Please check or set another directory and try again.
Btw, is it a crash in 15.1 only (not in 15.0)?
If you cannot find the log, is it possible you can upload/pm me the scene/simple demo?

Hi, my Octane Blender 15 crashes, when i switch viewport shading to Material mode.
When I import old *blend file where viewport shading is in Material mode, it crashes too.
Octane Blender 14 opens such files ...
