Blender 15.1

Hi,

thanks for the update.
I really appreciate that object / shader visibility status is now taken into account before compiling.
It works great when the objects are hidden in outliner.
When the objects are hidden via the blender layer system the speed improvement is much less. Could this be improved?
Because hiding objects on layers is faster and more versatile.
With linked objects from other blend files it doesn't work.

Probably renaming of the transmission Pin breaks compatability with older blendfiles (nodes are detached).

Images look different compared to Version 14 (I've tried various settings without success)

I don't like the new system without a dedicated preview imager node, because when you're not rendering through
a camera, you have to select the active camera to be able to make any changes to the imager node.

Looks like Camera images is off. I've noticed that previous projects opened in 15.1 Camera imager is off.

I disabled the function and everything worked fine. Thanks J.C

Tested both with diabled and enabled. Haven't tried yet with RAW Settings in the colormanagement settings though.

I've been comparing compilation time between 3.07 and 3.08 RC3 further more with a complex scene.

Compilation until render starts (all Objects visible) 3.07 and 3.08 RC3 around 55s.

95% of Geometry hidden inOutliner Compilation Time 3.07: 25s, 3.08 RC3: 9s (yeah!!)

95% of Geometry hidden with Blender Layer System Compilation Time 3.07 and 3.08 RC3 25s.

As mentioned above it would be great if the compilation time reduction would work in conjunction with
the Blender Layer System.
