Octane 3, 4 and upgrade

Hello, I am considering buying octane render. Right now, only version 3 is available in stock. But Octane 4 is almost there. I am wondering if I could buy version 4 directly. If not, how much should I pay for upgrading my Octane 3 to 4? Thanks.
