To have octane similar to indigo renders.

Is it possible for octane to have similar gamma to another renderer like indigo in getting the renders to looks more like them for that even further touch of realism. Also greater control of changing the colour temparture and red green blue of the image would be a great extension for the software.

Hi,
Unfortunately i don't know how indigo does it's gamma correction internally, and onosendai is quite secretive about his things...
I assume playing with gamma should do it ?
I know he scaled silently all RGB colours to 08 (or 0.9, can't remember exactly).
If you know more about what it does, we can look into it.

Maybe this is a silly question but does octane work in a linear workflow. I managed to get a reply from indigo support, and is mentioned that the process and techniques used in indigo are done in a linear workflow. If this is already true, do you plan to add any more control over possibly changing RGB values for renderings. I think the only major difference I can spot is that if you look at some renders done such as the statue on the glass table the darker areas seem to have some colour tint for them or has a offset applied to the blacks.
