SolidWorks to Octane

Hi There,
I'm like a few others out there, a SolidWorks user looking for a decent unbiased rendering solution. BunkspeedShot etc are OK, but lack the detailed type of control that Octane seems to offer.
I've tried using both Sycode's OBJ exported for SW, as well as Moi3D - both of which produce strange results. I've turned everything to maximum, MoI is exporting NGONS and I'm just not sure whether I'm going to be able to get Octane to fit into our workflow in a way that produces decent results.
Anyone out there with experience / tips?
Thanks in advance,
Nick
