Team Render with Regular and Rental licenses

Hey

So I have a octane license I've pruchased and recently I've rented a license to for my other machine.
When I tried to do a team render I noticed it wouldn't allow me to multipass render it only rendered the regular files. If I do a regular render on either machine solo multipass works fine.
Is there a work around or are rental licenses limited?

Hi JonathanWinbush,
I have just tried with Team Render, and a mix of commercial and subscription licenses, and everything has worked as expected. Both flatten and layered frames were saved.
Please, check the TeamRender Local Repository path in c4d Preferences/Render/TeamRender.
Did you try with c4d standard render to check that everything is working correctly for TeamRender?
ciao beppe

OK I got it to work
For some reason the system with the rental license if I run it from there then it all works no problem but if I run it from my machine with the commercial license then it doesn't give me the multi pass layers.
Not sure what I should check for but at least its working.

There's not any limitations like that. Propably you hit to bug for saving of multipass in R19. Check warning text on release thread about it. You may need better experiments before asking!

I'm currently using R18 because I'm well aware of the issues regarding R19 at the moment so no but thanks
