Can the Octane Gradient be more like native LW's?

Juanjgon is there any way to get a visual representation of whats going on with the octane gradient like how the native LW gradient works? Being able to visually see the color transitions and set the smoothing for each input differently is great. It a lot easier to be able to manually move the keys and see the desired effect vs typing in a number and getting an update in vpr. Not sure if this is possible but if it is I think it would be great to have added in. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the LightWave gradient node is not a standard GUI type exposed in the LightWave SDK. Probably it has been custom made for this node. I'll think about how to make something like that for the Octane plugin, but as I said, it must be custom made at the low level.

Thanks,

Ok, thanks for the response. It would be awesome if you were able to create something but I understand if it's not possible. Any chance LW 2018 sdk opened up any of these types of problems?

I haven't asked for a long time, but is there anyway of the gradient being based on things object distance, position, incidence angle etc, yet?
