Hello,

There is a bug when ever 10/15/20 frames are rendered, octane seems to crash.
It is very annoying when doing over night animations, you could loose hours of precious rendering time.
I dont really think it has something to do with the script it self, and if you are wondering im using yoyozs 1.10 for blender 2.57b .

second,

This forum is getting very cluttered with stickys and posts in general, areas such as the resources section, out dated videos/walk through s/documentation and the general layout of the website/forum. Is there a ETA on when this new website design/system will be complete? Since it is just html and php there wont be to many problems or Murphys law  .

Thanks,

Radiant

Well, you are the first ones who reports problems in that area with recent releases. There had been problems in the past, related to OctaneLive, but they should be solved now.

Since you are both Blender users on Windows, it may be related to the export script. I don't know. Maybe yoyuz can help here.

There is also a problem on Windows with releasing of file handles. When a file has been written and is closed, it doesn't become immediately available for other processes. That's the reason why the C4D exporter has a delay of 2 seconds after closing the exported files, before Octane gets launched. I think Face's Softimage exporter does the same.

Regarding the forum: I can't give any ETA since it's a lot of work.

Cheers,
Marcus
