Format file for textures

Considering how Octane manage the textures used into materials, witch format file (JPG, PNG, TIF..) is better to use in order to reduce time of management and (if possible) memory occupation?

I've understood (thanks Bepeg4d) that a 8000x8000 jpg use 44x size than a 4000x4000 one.
Are PNG, TIF, JPG the same amount of occupation into Octane memory?

Hi Luca,
the images are loaded at full size in VRAM, so the only way to reduce the occupation of memory, is to reduce the dimensions in pixels.
You should have a better managing time by using uncompressed formats, like TGA, for example.
