DIsplacement not working

Hey, I plug displacement node to material ( it shows displacement correctly on a material preview) but when I attach it to mesh the displacement is not on the model. I am 99% sure I am doing something this wrong way, but can't find a soilution online. Does anyone have a thoughts how to fix it ??

Hi zheks22,
I think you're wrong unit of measurement and an incorrect position scene.
Octane Render works in meters, so importing 1 unit = 1 meter.
try the attached scene.

Thanks for the feedback, your scene loads displacement correctly. But when I import any geomentry it just dont work. I have checked in import optiones and its in meters, what do you mean "incorrect scene position" ?

I am bit frustrated, as I have no idea how to get this to work on an imported mesh.

Hi zheks22,
try to import your geometry into my scene and compare their scale units.
I think your geometry will be much bigger than mine.
to try:
right mouse button > gemometry > mesh
right mouse button > geometry > group
connect my geometry and your to group node, then connect node group to render target.
about Geometry Import Settings see here:

It is indeed insanely huge compared to your model. I have changed the settings to meters, but it keeps importing huge mesh.. Also when zoomed out it often looks like on screen #1. I thought it was an issue on 3d Coat side, but then I imported a mesh from C4D and it was the same, it also lost subdivision when I tried to put a displacement map on it.

It is getting realy frustrating to me, struggling with it for 2 days. but I hope I can find a solution for this issue. I have tested it on 2 computers, with Octane demo and full standalone version - same issue.

Here are some screenshots with settings, maybe that could help.

when applied to mesh it looks like this :

Ok I have made a little progress on my issue, managed to get a displacement work on C4D exported models, but mesh of the same size from 3d COAT does not get displacement. maybe it has to do with topology ?

Here are the screens.
