Take a look at this:

I think there is a sample scene attached.
PS: I thought animating the c4d noise worked?
Best regards

Thanks a lot. Well, my problem is not to make a closeup, sorry i didnt clarify that. For closeups like this u can do it with displacer cause its on geo so its fine.
I need do this on a larger surface, so i need some small bump or displacement map animated (and not geometry) and i dont know how to do this in octane. Animation speed in c4d noises doesnt seem to work, cause i think octane bakes the c4d native noise to an image.

Hmm I see, maybe you could use the octane nouse/turbulence with a UVW transform to get the size you want, that should work without visible tiling? This works for bump, if you need to displace the surface aswell you could then feed the noise into a baking texture.

Yes i do that for a still but i want this to be animated and besides transforming the c4d noise, which is not what i want, i cant evolve it.
Other thoughts? ty

You can always bake out the animated noise into an image seq and pipe that into the bumb

Hi thanulee,

Anyway, always better to use octane procedurals shaders.

I have recently done a small water animation using the octane turbulence by animating the offset value, but that was no for an ocean but a small container. Might still be worth a try though. You could also try animating the UVW transfrom values. If you absolutlely want to animate that exact c4d noise, you can feed it into a texture baking node and also try to animate the UVW transfrom values.Thats all I can think of.
Cheers!

Thanks, so far i baked some noises as sequences cant find any other solution, since offset is offset and not evolution of noise. Ye Beppe, I want to but how? UVW offset there again? that is not waves is offseting the whole pattern
