Any ideas?

I think you get that on Windows, if your graphics driver is too old. Please install the latest GeForce driver 266.58.

If that doesn't work: What is your operating system, and what is the version of the NVIDIA graphics driver you are using?

Marcus

Similar problem after updating to latest demo version (2.46b). I'm using an FX570 while waiting for computer upgrade, and I updated the driver after getting the error message the first time. Still getting same message.
Thanks for assistance.

On which OS are you working?

Please try a clean install of the latest Quadro driver 270.71 WHQL (http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-win ... river.html) and if that one doesn't work, try a clean install of an older one like the 267.79 WHQL (http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-win ... river.html).

Um, just one more thing: The Quadro FX 570 is quite ancient and has only 16 CUDA cores. For good performance you should consider getting a GeForce 460 or 560 or higher.

Marcus

Option 1 worked.
I was a little embarrassed to list my card, but desparation won out. This computer is going to the bookkeeper, so I'll thankfully be upgrading soon. The video card needs to speak Revit and I had been looking at a Quadro 2000. The GTX cards weren't listed on the Revit compatibility list, but I'll research further.
Thanks again for your help Marcus.

I'm now actually having the exact same issue. I'm running NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 on a 64-bit 24 GB RAM system. I just updated the drivers (automatic update). Any advise for me to apply to this issue. (I'm really looking forward to trying this software and if the demo works as well as it has been demonstrated, I would be more than willing to buy a licence :) ).

I hope to hear back from you guys soon!

Hi,

It's best not to use any auto update/install,
just head over to www.nvidia.com and click on the 'download drivers' in the top navigation,
then select your GPU and operating system to download the latest drivers,
and install them by launching the executable you have downloaded.
