trying to update from 3.05.1 to 3.06.2

I have replaced the file c4dOctane-R18.cdl64 for my version (r18) in the folder ind: Cinema4D\plugins\c4dOctane directory
and it still seems to show 3.05.1
any ideas what is happening? it works but has an old version, very odd?

I've seen this before when the LV is part of my startup layout. If you close it and re-open it you should see the right version. Then just re-save the startup layout.

Hi wutronic,
sorry, it's not clear... you need to replace the entire c4octane folder, and leave only the c4doctane-R18.cdl64 file, not only replacing it.
If you have done it correctly, but you still see the old version displayed in the LV title, probably is because you have nested some c4doctane panels in your custom c4d layout.
Bring back the default layout, or remove the c4doctane panel from your custom layout, to correctly display the current plugin version.
