Houdini 16.0705

Hello,
I just purchased Octane and I'm trying to install in Houdini Indie version 16.0705.
I'm using Octane version Octane_3.07.0.0_Houdini.
When I launch Houdini it says error, wrong version. (See attached)
What am I doing wrong?

Hi and welcome!
Why do you have the Octane plugin .dll inside your $HOME/dso folder? From my point of view, it is not a good idea at all to try to install the plugin at $HOME. You should leave the full plugin directory at some point in your HD and modify your houdini.env file to add the PATH and HOUDINI_PATH variables to configure the plugin.
You should remove all the plugin files that you have copied to your $HOME folder and install it using the instructions in the docs:

Thank you Juanjo,
I got it up and running by using a previous version of the plugin: Octane_3.06.4.0_Houdini_16.0.633_Win64
And it is working fine.
I will move the files out of my home folder and into another location, though.
