Two different GPU questions

Can some one point me in the right direction please, I am sure there is a post on here somewhere that pertains to my situation.

My original system uses a EVGA Titan X Maxwell, yesterday I added a EVGA 1080ti SC in addition to the Titan X. Both cards run fine, however, when I open the IPR it just hangs there and does not generate any output.

I assume it's a configuration issue. Under plug-in options I clicked the GPUs tab and clicked the "Enable all GPUs" function, which didn't fix the issue. Can anyone help me out?

Thank you,

Paul Wermuth

After you slapped in your 1080Ti, did you update your NVidia driver? Your 1080Ti may have seemingly worked okay with the support that was already built into the driver you had installed, but I am pretty sure you need to install/update again every time you add a (unique) GPU to system. That is my understanding anyhow...

I got both drivers running for both cards now. The issue I am finding is the scene will load and render with the titan X card, but does not on the 1080i. They both don't render together.

What octane version are you running ? you need 3.05 or so for Pascal GPUs (1080Ti is pascal) to make it work/render.

Wasn't there a problem with mixing Maxwell an Pascal?
