Hi
When I upload my render to gearVR following the instructions, the cube map looks like the picture bellow even when i have the gearVR on and am in ORBX player. I've tried in spherical but the quality is really bad and all the edges are jagged.
What am i doing wrong?

Hi dave,
it seems that you have not set the corret resolution, click the Resolution icon in the node inspector and choose the GearVR preset, or set the value to 18.432 x 1.536.

or is that in 'film settings?' will this help with the fact that Cube maps come out like this split screen effect?
Thanks

AAAAH you were right! thank you so much. It worked. My render times have gone through the roof though

Hi dave,
sorry, my fault, I should have been more specific, yes correct, now the "Resolution" node is inside the Film settings" node:
Anyway, glad to hear that you have found it. Obviously the high resolution has an impact on render time, but the final result will be stunning in GeatVR.
Alternatively, you can buy some ORC credits, and send it to render on the cloud:

Also standart for cubemaps has changed. Now Oculus recomend render images mono: 12000x2000px and stereo 24000x2000px.
