Hi,
changing the dimension of the left toolbars (Layer, Properties, Materials, etc) affects the dimension of the Perspective viewport and consequently what I see in the render viewport. Is there a way to lock the octane render viewport (what I can see in this viewport)?

Yes, Rhino will change the camera position when you do this. Clicking the Viewport Navigation button on the Viewport will stop this.
