Export even if Hidden?

I must be on the fringe of having too many polygons in my render. I am trying to hide everything I can, but still need to keep them in the scene just incase I need the hidden stuff later on. Even if it is hidden, does it still try to load into octane or something? I am getting a million crashes, or just nothing loading in the viewer. I am dealing with large Cad files with many parts, but trying to hide as much as possible..
Thanks

If you turn Live Geometry Update ON for all geometry items, they should all have their own Octane Mesh nodes and you won't exceed the polygon limit. If however Octane will not start rendering because you are running out of VRAM due to the polygon count, turn on Out Of Core Textures. If you are still running our of VRAM, set the End Frame to 1, and use the octane.saveAnimation command. This will put all scene geometry into a single .ABC file.

Thanks! So far the exporting is working well. WIll this work then for long animations? Like 500 frames of this? Will I have less to worry about for crashing?
Thanks again!

Damn.. I lied. I tried the bigger machine and brought it into the standalone with the save animation command. But it says all 3 cards failed and nothing is rendering...

What does the Octane Standalone Log report?
