The Cinema 4D plugin is crashing constantly for me now. I can reproduce it by:
- Start Cinema4D
- Open Octane Live Render window
- Add an object
- Move the viewport
- Crash
My system:
- OSX Sierra 10.12.1
- 64 GB of RAM
- GTX Geforce 980ti
- Cinema 4D R18.057

Strangely, I have a huge project in Cinema4D that uses octane without a problem. It just seems to be creating new projects and turning on Octane that crashes.

Following up, if I add an OctaneSky (Texture Environment) to a new project in Cinema 4D, open up the Octane Settings and then open up the Octane Live Viewer, no crash happens.
But, the second I delete the OctaneSky it will cause a crash.

Can you post a video of crash with details of settings window->other section too?

Here's a video showing the first case:
http://interfacelab.io/app/uploads/octa ... -crash.mp4
Here's a video showing the second case where adding a texture environment seems to prevent the crash, but then deleting the environment causes a crash:
http://interfacelab.io/app/uploads/octa ... -crash.mp4
I've attached the screen shot of the settings.
Thanks!

What's happening if you try with these?
- Navigate with keys not icons from top of screen?
- Different value of "Synchronisation on geo. updates" from settings->others.

Hey, I have the same problem here. Still couldn't find out why or how I could solve this.
My hardware specs are:
OS Sierra 10.12.3
i7-6700k
GTX 980 Ti
I've already tried installing several different versions for Standalone and C4D Plugin, with no luck.
Anyone found a solution for it?
Thanks

It seems that unchecking the "Synchronization on geo. updates" worked so far.
YAY
