Octane not successfully installed into Blender

Hello! I'm hoping I'm just missing something that is laughable but for whatever reason I can't seem to get OctaneVR (subscription version) to work.

Maybe you veterans can help me?

I've installed the NVIDIA CUDA 8.0 for Mac Os X. Version 8.0.83.

I have a macOS Sierra
Version 10.12.5
Desktop from 2013 21.5 inch
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1024 MB

I've followed the manual and where I seem to get stuck is at section 3 here:
https://docs.otoy.com/Blender_Plugin_Ma ... n%7C_____1

I don't even see an option for anything to check. It just says Octane GPUs and nothing.

What may be wrong?

When I render anything it just gives a blank checkered screen and says the render is 100% done but never really done.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Sounds like you are having driver issues. You shouldn't need to install CUDA, just the nvidia driver, at least on Windows and Linux, not sure about MacOS. Can you run standalone? This will let us know if your driver is installed correctly or there is a problem with the plugin.

Hi! Thank you so much for your response!

OctaneVR alone works okay. When I pull up the demo it seems to work okay too. I don't currently have the Standalone version.

It's in Blender itself that it doesn't seem to be working. I do have Octanerender and it does give me all the other things. It's just that one box that I need to check doesn't seem to appear and so the renders don't show up.

I tried downloading this when reading your comment but it still didn't work :(

Double check that the version of the plugin and Octane Server are the same. Are you starting up the server before you open Blender?
