Network Render Slave Stopped Logging [solved]

Hi,

I did a search about this online but couldn't find an answer.

I've just set up a slave machine for network rendering, C4D can see the machine and the GPUs in the network settings tab.

In the Octane live viewer on my master machine it can also see the slave and its 2 GPUs.

However, as soon as I start rendering the slave and its GPU info disappear from the live viewer info and on my slave machine it immediately give me a message that it's stopped logging.

To get the slave to launch again I have to go back into network settings and it'll start again, but turns itself off again if I try and render on my master machine.

I've checked my network sharing settings and firewall between the two machines and it all looks fine I think.

Any ideas what this could be?

Thanks.

Fixed this now.

I re-read the manual and realised I didn't need to manually start the bat file on the slave, it starts automatically.

Also having network rendering set in the Octane Render settings doesn't seem to apply to the live viewer, I needed to enable it separately in the live viewer in the settings tab.
