Hello,I invested on new pc ( i7, 8 gb ram, gtx 480 and gtx 470)
I didn't see very big improvements On rendering times. I have downloaded cuda 3.2 because I could not find 3.0
I Sincerely haven't yet made a satisfying rendering.

On Windows you don“t need any Cuda drivers, it comes with Octane.

Hi Manos,

You will find the download links of the CUDA 3.0 builds next to the download links of the CUDA 3.2 builds.

If you mean the CUDA toolkit: You don't have to install any CUDA toolkits on Windows. The current NVIDIA graphics drivers for Windows provide the CUDA stuff you need, beside Octane. The latest forceware 266.58 for example, should work with the CUDA 3.0 and 3.2 builds.

Regarding performance: The CPU is not important to the rendering itself. Only the preprocessing in the beginning might get sped up. If you want the highest speed with your setup, you should use the CUDA 3.0 builds and use both GPUs for rendering.

Cheers,
Marcus
