how render out particles with motion blur

We have a scene with a small pflow event of 300 animated instances not very heavy. it´s OK to render it without motion blur it loads a lot slower than scanline or vray but it´s ok. It renders clean in about two minutes so it tells about the complexity of the scene.

when I turn on motion blur it just stalls and I haven´t really seen it out but; more than 20 minutes. in compare to the rendertime once it is loaded I say way to long to justify the use of octane here and I´m really looking for a solution.
any suggestions are welcome and a solution like vray´s particle instancer is very neded

Hi dawe,
I made some test with Pflow, the issue you mentioned sometimes happens.
I can not understand what it depends on, sometimes 3dsMax lacks with MB.
It happens with OMB and VMB. It happens with Pflow particles, but (e.g.) using particles in Phoenix FD, everything seems to work.
Everything seems to work even with instances too.
I'll make more test, will prepare a scene with this issue and send it to developers.

Thank you!
Does it somehow help to export the scene to octane standalone?

Hi dawe,
A workaround about MB, you could use sub frame motion blur (Multipass motion blur 3dsMax) with pflow:

Thank you. I have considered that method but as we have to get vectors rather than rendered motion blur it´s no option on this project. we tried to render out vectors from vray but that didn´t work either. Took way to long for vray to prep the scene so. Maybe there is something wrong with the pflow event here.

Thank you for your efforts!
