hey guys,

has anyone figured out where to plugin the images or duplicate this node in C4d Octane ? the basic material is posted on Live DB as "tonysculptor skin r20" for download.

i can't figure it out mainly where to plugin my image and specular maps.

I'm no expert when it comes to skin, but maybe give this a try. I think next step would be to add a 3rd material for the outside skin. make it a glossy material, and plugin your diffuse, spec, roughness maps etc.

Then mix that with this dermis mix shader you've created. And try blending the two mix nodes with a falloff? Falloff settings would depend on your scene scale.

you could take it one step further and try plugging in a more red (color corrected) version of your diffuse texture into the transmission and inverse of it into the medium channels on your scatter material. though the rgb shader may be enpugh here.
