Baking multiple projections into compound map

Hey!

I am currently working on a project where I have set up several object (mostly furniture) in C4D with cubic projections and octane materials. The client requires me to export them as objs with baked textures. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to properly remap all the projections into one UV map to bake in octane. With the CInema 4D internal baking command it works fine. All the Box mapped projections get remapped and a new UV set is automatically created from them which is used for the new texture. Is there a way to do this with octane too?

Cheers!

Have you checked Octane's bake Camera?

Hey Ahmed,

Yes I have checked it out. It works fine when the object already has the materials applied with us projection, but if I understand correctly the octane camera can't convert the cubic mappings to UVS like the c4d internal baking, is that right? I would have to retexture all the objects with uv projection instead of cubic.

Plugin will convert to uvw if you have c4d mapping from texture tags. But don't know what's behaviour with octane's projection types. I'll check whenever sit on front of pc.
