c4doctane: cannot execute binary file

Hello,
It is mostly Mac OS issue but I've tried everything I could think of, so I will ask it here too.
I'm trying to install c4doctane plugin, and it gives me:
/Applications/MAXON/CINEMA4DR18/plugins/c4doctane/c4dOctane_R18.dylib ; exit;
-bash: /Applications/MAXON/CINEMA4DR18/plugins/c4doctane/c4dOctane_R18.dylib: cannot execute binary file
logout
I tried chmod +x already, nothing changed.

Have anyone encountered the same issue?
OS X El Capitan 10.11.1
c4doctane 3.05.3

Hey,
What are you trying there? Running the plugin file as an application?

I was trying that, yes.
First, I tried just to leave all the files in Cinema 4D folders (/plugins/c4doctane), nothing happened. So, then I looked at the manual here https://docs.otoy.com/#cinema-4d-v3-get ... -cinema-4d which says to run the installer in case plugin won't show up, so I assumed it was the installer.

Update: I solved it by leaving c4dOctane_R17 file instead of R18 (as my C4D version).
Now it's crushing. This battle is not over :)

Sorry but it's not a solution and not adviced. It's not loading because you should have older version of C4D. If you check install notes and you'll see that you need minimum required C4D versions.
