Render pass - object id mask not showing

Hello,
Could anyone help out with this: I just want to make a pass of the object ID 2 (all the text, basically) but theres a cube with glass material over the little text.
Here's a screen of the simples setup (the render layer was just to see the preview mask (BTW how can I see the preview os render layer mask other than checking the "render layer" and selecting the ID?):
