More control over daylight node for space

I would love to to have the ability to have the sun go below the horizon and not turn orange for lighting certain scenes in space...... where the sun light is coming from below a ship. I have tried using image maps for the background, and using octane lights with crazy distances and huge values, but the daylight node with a star field texture produces the best results. Would it be possible in the future to be able to do this?

Maybe change the Sunset Color in Environment:Daylight-node?

Yo. Any time folks put a general Octane question in a specific plug section, they really are doing themselves a disservice... reduces likelihood of Octane team seeing it, and way less eyeballs in general, if rallying others to your cause is desired...

If you make both the Sky and Sunset white, does this not give you the look you want, in outer space?

Turning the sky and sunset color to grey helps, but if you drop the Sun below the Horizon very far it disappears, as its suppose to in a daylight system, would be useful in space to have it not disappear.

I was posting in the LIghtwave plug-in section because I thought maybe it was something that could be done to the Lightwave Plug-in.

Thanks.
