Hey everyone ,
Have just forgotten to sign out from the standalone version at home so can't use it at workplace now...also googled this
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=56821 ,with developers saying
"Note that Octane licenses are now releases automatically when the standalone or the plugin host application exits."
Doesn't seem to work in my case tohugh. Maybe someone has experiences smth. alike...Thx)

Hi, Alex,
these things sometime happen if applications are not turning of the way they should or if for some reason You would not have internet around that time.
However to solve this quickly You can log into Your OTOY account & release licences there. To avoid people overusing these (& cheating licensing system), You are limited to 5 times, before You would have to contact OTOY & ask to restore unlocks).
Overall good practice would be to turn off Your C4D, standalone or any other application that has plugin installed & take a look into online profile over OTOY site to see if those licences are released. if not just open standalone & log off.
In most case these things work flawless, but sometimes some user do have these issues that more than often are caused by computer, lan or other software. If You wish to have a bit more flexibility You can always leave something like team viewer installed that allows You to use Your computer remotely - it might help to avoid some stressful moments, especially when You're dealing with projects close to deadlines.
Hope that will help.
Sinc.

You can release it in octanelive if it hasn't been released after you closed it. Make sure not to bind the license to 1 pc when installing.
