Hello, i'm back with another silly question.
i got this 4k texture applied to 400x400 plane. it looks good from distance, but when i zoom in it gets all blurry and its really annoying. i want a solution so i can get close-up micro shots.
thanks alot, i appreciate your patience.

The looks like your texture isn't high res enough. 4k isn't all that much, if you want to go really close.
Have you tried the same setup with Cinema's native renderer to ensure this is an Octane specific problem?

I'm afraid there is no other way if you want to use textures.
The "workaround" would be to build something procedurally and is thus resolution independent. You might want to play around with the different noises in C4D and Octane but be prepared to do a lot of tweaking to get the look you want.
