Hey all,
Is there a way to load in a heavy data set VDB export (in this case) from houdini, instead of a fluid built within maya? I can't seem to find a way to create on or even load a cache in maya (2016) at all.
thanks
Matt

hi Matt,
We are considering to implement VDB support in Octane for Maya, hopefully soon

In the meantime, please try open VDB for Maya plugin

great !!

here's a sample file for reference also please consider using Octane Standalone since it has VDB support.
