The new Sketchup release is imminent, and here is a video just posted on this Forum showing some of the new features.

There are a few final tweaks following feedback from internal testing, and deployment of the new release is expected within the next few days.

I feel like its coming today or tomorrow based on the
http://docs.otoy.com visual updates.
