Hello everybody,
Since I re-installed my C4D Octane Plugin on a new computer, all the materials of the liveDb window are missing...
I've tried to re-install it several times and the problem is always here.

Can someone help ? Thanks !

Hi gnicollet,
which version of c4doctane have you installed exactly?
Could you try with the latest stable version?

Another issue cold be the Firewall blocking the connection with livedb.
ciao beppe

you have to select a category under materials. It will not show anything with just selecting LiveDB/Materials

I've tried it before, but there's no sub-categories avaliable... when i click on "materials" nothing shows up, i can only rename the category name

This is super strange because when i launch the standalone version of Octane, all the materials are visible

standalone is a different software. Double check your firewall + antivirus for blockage the c4d.

Thank you @aoktar, this totally solved the mystery. Didn't realise the tiny black 'bullet points' where actually sideways-or-downwards-pointing arrows -- expandable by clicking the wee chaps.
