as the title .. i found luxrender has this awesome feature ..can merge the render sample from another sample file ..and i'd try it ..that is amazing..
is it possible to do this in octane render?
i think it will be very usefully..that because when i only have one graphic card..when octane is rendering..my pc will be slowdown..so i always render my picture when i sleep..
but the render time is alway not enough (the interior scene is always need more time ..)
so if we can merge the render sample..that we can merge everytime render sample to avoid re-render or render at my work time..
sorry about my pool english ..and hope you know what i mean...

yes Maxwell has this, in the form of allowing you to "resume" a render. I've tried blending multiple renders in photoshop but I don't remember it looking great.

Yes, being able to import a scene rendered to 2,000 samples and then continue would be fantastic.
It would also allow us to reopen old renders and adjust things like camera response or exposure long after we've closed octane.

You can render with pathtracing in segments.
Change the rrprop to 1 under the pathtracing settings.
Render 1000 samples and save the image. On the next day, render again with 1000 samples and save the image.
Now you can blend the images with 50% together.
