realflow10 particle-import renders in pv but not in lv

hi,
i export particles out of realflow10 (not the realflow|c4d plug-in) an use the particle importer to get them into c4d.
i assign a material and press render, and it renders just fine - in the picture viewer.
the live viewer does not render any of those particles.
what could be the problem?
i don't know what i would need to post to help you to help me, system-specifications are in the signature, the versions are the most recent for c4d and realflow. octane version are the most recent stable ones.
