Is there any way to fix the issue with Octane keeping C4D running in the background processes after shutting down? Not only does it cause my changes to the interface and hotkeys not to be saved, but it locks a license, even though my computer is not even on, it somehow still has hold of the license because C4D didn't properly shut down, I'm guessing?

Every other day I have to manually unlock one or two of our nine licenses from the web.

Don't know why this happens. I'm trying to add some exit_log to investigate this. I can give you a test build if you want to help me.

I won't have time until later today to test, but yea I can try the test build to see if it'll shut down properly and release the license

version/OS?

It's in my sig, but it happens on both my PC's one with win7 64 latest octane and plugin , latest R18 with all updates and 7x 1080's and the one at home all the same except win10 64, and 3xTitan X's maxwell. I hope it helps..
Sometimes when i reset octane before I close C4D and revert to the default layout in C4D and then close it it doesn't happen, sometimes it does even then. If I could test anything let me know.

Could we delay this build? New test sdk is out and i'll make a test build soon. You can test it in that.

Yes of course, Adaptive sampling is most important anyway , this can wait.

Fine by me, the adaptive sampling and all that is way more important to me, as long as I don't run out of license unlocks
