Render Region

Hi there I want to ask if there is option to connect values in percentage to some Octane Render Region node.
I developed the tool for Automatic computation of render region tool of specific object and I would like to connect it to octane.

Hi Peter

The Octane Viewport render region coordinates are not stored in a Modo item property/channel. So you cannot adjust these other than by dragging the mouse in the Viewport.

I'm a little confused by Paul's reply, because Octane already supports modo's render region channels.

Maybe there is an issue driving these channels from an assembly?

EDIT: Yes it looks like octane is not updating if the region (left, right, top, bottom) channels are being driven by other modo nodes

EDIT 2: This may actually be a modo bug, because I do not see preview updating the render region either. It works fine in f9 though.

This is not a modo bug because my "plugin" is drivin modo render region fine.

This is fixed in the next release of the plugin (3.6.0.118).
